Prince Pac (Legendary Children) returns to the Rest is Noise this July hosting the whole night on his tod, giving him the chance to expand beyond his usual Typically Tropical mandate of 80s/90s RnB and Hip Hop tapping into his broad musical tastes. 13 years DJing and a short attention span have led Pac to dig deep into countless genres and periods in music, and an ability to look beyond the usual bangers. Expect a set spanning rare groove, balearic hits, off centre 80s pop, reggae, early house and the usual hip hop malarkey.

Graffiti Analysis: 3D
These guys from F.A.T. Lab are really taking thinking about graffiti to the next level. First James Powderly and Evan Roth invented Laser Tag, a way to write with light using just a laser pointer, a projector, and a laptop. Then their pal Aram Bartholl created tags out of computer capture codes. Roth is at it again, this time designing Graffiti Analysis 2.0, a way to digitally map the motion involved in making graffiti, then model it in 3-D, illustrated from start to finish in the video above.

Adventures In The Beetroot Field are throwing a party on Saturday 10th July, here at The Rest Is Noise with some impressive acts. Among them is The Good Natured. The Good Natured is Sarah Mcintosh. She first came on to the radar with her debut EP called Warriors, and now she’s getting even more attention with her latest songs. We really love her music - check the video for her single “Your Body Is A Machine”.
BLACK CAB SESSIONS DJs
The Black Cab Sessions is a series of one song performances by the likes of Death Cab For Cutie and My Morning Jacket in the back of a black cab. Other performances have included poetry and beat boxing. MIM takes this eclecticism and uses it in his DJ sets, showcasing his mix of soul, disco, latin and house that sets the dance floor on fire.
